Shout “I am Redeemed!”

I am Redeemed

“For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake.” — 1 Peter 1:18–20

Jesus, alive and active before the foundation of the world, appeared and was publicly made manifest in these last times for us. Crucified, shamed, mocked, scourged, and killed, He hung on the cross, shedding His heavenly blood, providing redemption for you and me.

The Bible says in Jeremiah 1:5, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart…” In the ages before time began, there was God, and there you were, with Him. The Psalmist said it well: “Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in Your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.”Psalm 139:16

Before you fall short or sin, God has already provided a remedy for your salvation. Before you fail, He has already made a way for you to succeed. Before you go astray, He is there, providing a path and method to hold and redeem you.

Before you have a question, He already has the answer. He says, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”John 14:6. He offers up Himself as the solution to your problem and stretches forth His hand to provide a way for you to move through whatever you are facing. You are not redeemed with something weak, frail, or temporary, but with the eternal, everlasting, precious blood of Jesus.

He loves you and has a plan, purpose, and destiny uniquely in store for you, a calling upon your life which He specially designed you for.

Today, He is seated at the right hand of the Father, continually interceding for all who believe and providing a path of redemption for all who would call upon His Name in faith. When you call upon the Name of Jesus and surrender your life to Him, the Bible says you are “born again” – not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever. – 1 Peter 1:23

Who you are is determined by whose you are: You are “reborn from above” into a new supernatural family—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart. That is who you are! Shout “I am Redeemed!”
