Manifest Christ

Manifest Christ

We, as believers, are called to walk in Christ and “as Christ” wherever we go since His dwelling is now with and within us (1 Cor 6:19; Rev 21:3) and no longer in a temple made with human hands (Acts 17:24). Wherever we go and in whatever we do, we are called to manifest Christ.

Matthew 5:13-16 instructs us to let our lights shine and to be the salt of the earth. Salt and light have no purpose unless they are used for the purpose for which they are made.

The Bible says that we have each been given a purpose from God: to live a life that reflects Christ and spreads the gospel! (Phil 2:2) Paul said it perfectly, “For to me to live IS Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21, emphasis added).

As a Christian, the aim and purpose of your life is not to “make it to heaven” or to live a “good life” but rather to live a selfless, self-surrendered life unto the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. When Christ becomes your reason and purpose for living, you are no longer swayed by the people and circumstances in your life; rather, you change your environment because His grace and superhuman, supernatural energy empowers and overshadows you (Col 1:29; Phil 2:13).

This is the mystery that has been hidden but has now been revealed – Christ in you, the hope of glory (Col 1:27). Renew your mind to this truth today and watch the world around you transform because of your presence in it.

“For in Him we live and move and have our being…” – Acts 17:28
