    SERENJE Campaign

    The Serenje Jesus Campaign took place from the 22nd of May to the 26th of May 2024, igniting the town with a fire unseen before, marking the first five-night campaign of its kind in Africa for Take The Nations. With over 40,000 souls gathering at the altars, the event became a radiant beacon of hope in a community facing many challenges, including a staggering suicide rate, the highest in the entire nation. The impact of the campaign extended far beyond its five-night duration, resonating deeply within the hearts of Serenje’s residents. Once barren chairs in churches now overflow with worshippers yearning for more of God. Weeks after the campaign, prayer, worship and leadership meetings have continued to take place, nurturing a hunger within the people of Serenje like never before. 

    NIGHT One

    Night one kicked off with thousands gathering with thankful hearts to attend the Jesus Campaign, an event the city had never had before. The crowd witnessed the miraculous unfold before their very eyes, as the hand of God moved to save, heal, and deliver countless souls. Evangelist Daniel’s powerful sermon on the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ stirred hearts and minds, setting the stage for the extraordinary nights that lay ahead.
    Night Two

    Word spread like wildfire across the city of Serenje, drawing even larger crowds to the second night of the campaign. People came hungry and expectant to see God move, yearning to witness and experience his touch once more. The crowd leaned in as Evangelist Daniel recounted the story of the woman with the issue of blood, her unwavering faith paving the path to her miraculous healing. Inspired by her example, many seized hold of the promises of God, igniting a wave miracles within the crowd. Cheers erupted as a mama, bound to a wheelchair for a decade, leapt to her feet, she came to the stage dancing and praising the Lord!
    NIGHT Three

    At the halfway point of the campaign, we stood in awe as the magnitude of God’s work became undeniable. Despite the town’s sparse population density, with only seven souls per square kilometer, and its vast expanse posing logistical challenges, people journeyed from far and wide, and even stayed on the grounds, to be a part of this great campaign. 
    NIGHT Four

    Miracles broke out within the crowd as Evangelist Daniel spoke on the power of the blood of Jesus on the fourth night of the campaign. Crutches were lifted up as the paralysed began to walk, among them, a man, once confined to crutches after a devastating car accident, felt the power of God move through his legs and began to walk unassisted. We serve a miracle working God!
    NIGHT FIVE

    The final night of the campaign truly was the highlight night as the Lord exceeded every one of our expectations. With news spreading throughout the town of the countless miracles that took place over the previous four nights, thousands came to see first hand just how the Lord could do the same in their lives. The Holy Spirit moved powerfully throughout the field, touching and changing lives forever. What once was known as a place of hopelessness and grief is now shining with the love and hope of Jesus.
    THE INVITATION AND THE CALL:
    There are very few things in life that are truly worthwhile. John reminds us in 1 John 2:17, “… the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.” What is the will of God? Peter makes it clear in 2 Peter 3:9, saying, “… not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance,” that there is nothing dearer to the heart of God than souls. Your investment into the harvest of souls is taking a stand and saying “yes” to the will of God.     Paul tells us in Philippians 4:17 that he does not seek nor desire financial gifts from the church but he is eager for the fruit which increases to the credit, the harvest of blessing that is accumulating to the account of the sower. The seed you have sown into the harvest of souls is accumulating right now in heaven. After Paul explains this to the church, Philippians 4:19 says, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Jesus Christ.” Because you have sown, YOU SHALL REAP!
     

    We know that as you sow into what we are doing, you, your family, business, and ministry will be richly blessed, because we are going after the harvest. Together, we are seeing Africa and the nations of the world come to Jesus!
