God has created you with a supernatural capacity. You are not merely limited to what you can accomplish in your own natural strength. If you are born again, you are born of God, a carrier of His divine nature, with Christ living in you.
In Luke 8, Jesus encountered the demon-possessed man known as Legion. This man had been completely tormented and bound by the enemy, yet when he encountered Jesus, one moment in the presence and power of Jesus changed everything. He was immediately set free.
This story gives us a powerful picture of the spiritual capacity God placed within mankind. The demons that had inhabited one man entered an entire herd of pigs when they were cast out. The point is simple: you have a far greater capacity than you realise. You were created to contain spiritual things – to be a carrier of God Himself.
The Bible says, “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Jesus did not simply come to improve your natural life. Through the new birth, you have been born from above. His Spirit lives within you.
That means you don’t have to approach life saying, “I’m only human. I can’t do this. This is too much for me.” Begin to realise who you are in Christ and what you carry. God has given you the capacity to overcome, to endure, to increase, and to fulfil everything He has called you to do.
The supernatural should not be strange to the child of God. We are citizens of Heaven. We carry the life and power of God wherever we go. What God did in the Bible, He is still able to do today. We are living epistles, and our lives should demonstrate to the world that Jesus Christ is alive.
So whatever may be standing in front of you today, refuse to shrink back. YOU HAVE THE CAPACITY. You are not going to grow weary. You are not going to faint. By the grace and power of God, you are going to the other side.
You carry miracles. You carry breakthrough. You carry the presence of God.
Expect God to do something supernatural in your life. The best is yet to come!
